Sorry for the lack of updates. My life has been more than hectic lately and somehow on top of it all I managed to get sick and stop raiding. Ulduar has been released nearly two weeks ago now and I still haven’t managed to step inside it on the live servers.

Then, in addition to that all, spammers have been harassing this site like no tomarrow. Comment moderation is both a blessing and a curse.

How many of these are actual comments? probably none. (edit: i was right, not a single legit comment)

So, how to deal with it? Good ole’ .htaccess rules to the rescue. The vast majortity of the spammer comments seem to be originating from the UK. Easy enough, all I have to do is ban the IP block from being able to access this site and the spam *should* stop, right?

Well only time will tell, but we’ll see.

So, most of us have gotten the hang of Naxx by now and judging by a lot of the search engine traffic I’m getting recently, many people are looking for information on Frost Resist gear for Naxx. Well you’re in luck, I’m going to attempt to compile a guide to Frost Resist gear — by class. Please be sure to leave comments if you have more information to add.

So there has been some discussion too about whether Frost Resist is worth the effort. Where I stand is basically if your guild has a shortage of healers or healers who are slightly undergeared, then any damage that is decreased is a good thing. Less damage  = less intensive healing = more mana. More mana is always good and reduces the stress. Especially on Heroic (25man), I’d say putting the effort forth for FR is worth it. Once the guild gets the fight down and the healers are geared, then its easy enough to do the fight without the added help from the resist.

So first of all, thanks to all the visitors who are still coming here even though there has been a lack of posting. A few things have changed/happened over the past few weeks that warrant mentioning here.

First, and foremost, Resolve now has all 25man content on farm. We’ve been working our asses off (to put it mildly) to get Naxx and the rest on farm and we’ve finally done it. Naxx, by and far, is easy once everyone gets the fights learned. Heigan and a few other bosses posed some minor challenges along the way but we managed.

Second, and this is more news related to Alleria than to Resolve, one of the most well known guilds, Premonition, has decided to leave. What this means, is, Resolve is doing our best to try to take the number one spot on the server. We’ve been pushing hard for achievements and doing quite well.

Third, and probably the most important (heh) is my gear. Coming along quite nicely and once i get a few minutes to spare I’m going to see if I can get a list posted here for those that are curious.

Anyway, just a quick update. More to come, as well as screenshots, and perhaps a video or two.

Sorry for not posting anything lately but this holiday season seems to be a bit more hectic than usual. Between classes, exams and usual holiday stuff I haven’t had much time for anything.

There are very few things I managed to see pre-BC. As I have mentioned in previous posts, I really was quite clueless when it came to real raiding. Sure, I saw Kara, but I doubt many could call a 10man raid, even a real raid. Especially once the nerf bat came pre-Wrath, Kara was nerfed so badly that people were 2manning the place.

Wow. What a night. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting this many kills our first night out and I think many others weren’t either. Great dps, great tanking, great heals. Great Job all around.

Yea, I know, posts have been scarce here lately. Just wanted to make a fast post here to let everyone know I haven’t forgotten about posting but life has been hectic (to put it mildly. Still working on getting 80 and the guild (Resolve) is set to start raiding next Monday (dec 1st).
